Piastri: McLaren's performance lacking at Malaysia GP

Oscar Piastri described the Bahrain Grand Prix in Malaysia as eventful after finishing sixth. The result kept him in the points but highlighted the gap to the front‑running teams.

He pointed out that McLaren lacked the pace of several rivals and needs to close the performance deficit. According to Piastri, the car did not have the speed required to fight for higher positions.

Piastri stressed that the team must improve to become more competitive in upcoming races. He called for a focused effort to regain momentum on the track.
