Cookie Policy

This English version is provided for convenience. If there is any inconsistency, the Turkish version prevails.
This policy explains how SectorBeat uses cookies and similar technologies such as browser storage. It was prepared taking into account the Turkish Personal Data Protection Authority’s Guidelines on Cookie Practices.
What is a cookie?
Cookies are small text files that a site stores in your browser. “Local storage” (localStorage) and “session storage” (sessionStorage) similarly keep information in your browser.

In production (HTTPS) the session cookie name starts with the “__Secure-” prefix.

These records contain nothing that identifies you and stay on your own device. Preferences and Measurement records are written only if you allow them; read and ad impression counting also depends on Measurement consent.
What we do not use
We do not use analytics, ad-targeting or social media tracking cookies. We serve fonts from our own server; our pages do not call external services for fonts.
Third-party cookies
When an embedded video (e.g. YouTube) is played, the provider may use its own cookies. These are subject to that provider’s policy.
Consent and changing your choice
On your first visit, the banner at the bottom of the page lets you choose “Accept all”, “Reject” or “Manage preferences”. Strictly necessary cookies are needed to provide the service you request and are not based on consent. Preferences and Measurement are optional and based on your explicit consent; until you decide, nothing in these categories is written and nothing is counted.
You can change or withdraw your choice at any time via the “Cookie preferences” link at the bottom of the site and in the menu; when you withdraw consent, the related records are deleted from your browser. Your choice is kept for 6 months; after that, or when this policy changes, you will be asked again.
If we decide to use other analytics or marketing cookies in the future, we will update this policy and ask for your consent separately before using them.
How to manage cookies
You can delete or block cookies and site data in your browser settings. Deleting the session cookie signs you out; blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent you from signing in.
